The Total Population

First of all, what is the population of Japan?

The Total Population, as of 2023, is 123.3 million people, which ranks 12th in the world.

I thought it would be ranked higher. How does it within the Asian region?

Japan is 6th in Asia.

China and India are in a different league! Is Japan’s population increasing year by year?

The population of Japan is declining due to a decreasing birthrate and an aging population.

However, from the perspective of the healthcare market, Japan is expected to see increasing demand due to its aging population.

The current elderly population (65 years and older) is approximately 36 million people, while the elderly population is predicted to be 40 million people in 10 years.
